Family History in Lodi

My great-grandparents settled in Lodi in the very early 1900s.  My great-grandmother, Eletta Curioni, opened “Curioni’s” in 1923.  That business is still open and family owned today.

A Special Thanks

I would like to thank everyone that signed my petition to get on the ballot and everyone that has reached out to offer their support.

I would also like to thank everyone that has reached out to offer a campaign contribution.  No matter how large or small the offering, I have responded to all the same way:  I am very grateful but I am not accepting any contributions.

Pay-to-Play reform and campaign finance reform have always been important issues to me.  I have seen what campaign money has done to the machine politicians and our town.  I always said if I ran for office, I wouldn't want to take any money from others.  So I decided to self-fund my campaign.

I asked everyone who offered money to instead register their neighbors and friends to vote.  Inform them of the issues.  Direct them to this website. Tell your friends on facebook what it going on.

Thanks again.
