From the article: “The subject first came up at the May 11, 2026, Chatham Board of Education meeting when residents came before the board and asked that Policy 5145.7 be amended or rescinded.”

Matthew Giacobbe, the pretend fighter for parental rights in Hanover, is anything but.

As with all of districts supposedly represented by their “Board Attorney Matthew Giacobbe” you see all regular players from the firm milking the system.  A lot of people billing under the guise of Giacobbe.  Link to Chatham legal invoices from the Giacobbe firm for a few months around summer time:

Chatham is horrible with OPRA.  They violated the law multiple times with my request.  With that said, the legal invoices from Chatham aren’t redacted like they were with Lodi.  Lodi’s redactions were the worst.  (I am not speaking of the current BA.  My examples are from the ones before him.)

In 2019, enough Lodi Board of Education members stopped this radical policy attacking parental rights that could have led to countless lawsuits and wasted lots of tax dollars before eventually being removed.

Lodi By The Numbers: Yesterday, the New York Post Wrote About Policy 5756. I Alerted Lodi About Policy 5756 in 2019 and the Board Stopped it At the Time.
