When questioned at public meetings, Marc Schrieks
always had a “knee-jerk” reaction to answer dishonestly.
The state asked municipalities to implement a list of
best practices in order to save tax dollars, be transparent, etc. As mayor, Marc Schrieks had no interest in
saving tax dollars. He fought all
efforts for transparency. Marc Schrieks blatantly
lied to the state to conceal the fact that Lodi had really bad practices.
