Masopust’s administration should have been more forthcoming on thorium problems.



On October 8th 2014, I attended an “Executive Meeting” in Tony Luna’s office (unattended by the public).  I listened to the Lodi politicians discuss thorium issues on Red Stone Lane, Hancock St., and at the BASF property.  The next day, I told many residents that I didn’t think it was right that this serious issue was not discussed at a “Regular Meeting” and that residents in that area were never informed of what was being discussed in Tony Luna’s office.

Almost a year and a half after that meeting, the Borough posted this on their website:


This administration needs to be more transparent on such serious issues.  They need to do a better job of informing the public.
