Michael Apicella Should Introduce Himself to the Voters of Lodi with a Copy of the Subpoena He Received to Appear Before a Federal Grand Jury for His Position on the Palisades Park Board of Adjustment (Disclose the Details of the Investigation) …

The FBI delivered subpoenas to the Palisades Park municipal building in 2013 seeking documents that included building records.

Michael Apicella purchased a home in Lodi in September 2014.

In less than 4 months from the purchase, Michael Apicella was already appointed by the Lodi Mayor and Council to the Lodi Planning Board. The same week of the appointment, Michael Apicella’s name appeared in news reports for a subpoena that he received to appear before a federal grand jury.

As a Lodi Planning Board member and Candidate for the Lodi Board of Education, Michael Apicella owes the residents of Lodi an explanation of what was going on with him at the Palisades Park Board of Adjustment and what was subpoenaed.  He also owes the residents of the Lodi an explanation about how he was appointed by the Lodi Mayor and Council to the Lodi Planning Board as soon as he moved from Palisades Park to Lodi.

With all the overdevelopment and special variances being awarded by Lodi Planning Board members like Michael Apicella to wealthy developers and campaign contributors, the Lodi voters must demand answers.

Michael Apicella is the Tax Collector for Palisades Park.  He continues to make annual campaign contributions to the Palisades Park Democratic Club.  A few months ago, he had the Palisades Park Democratic Club make a campaign contribution to Mark Delmonaco for a local Lodi election.  Why did Michael Apicella decide to move from Palisades Park to Lodi and why during that specific time period in 2014?
