Liberal states are run by the teacher unions. The teacher unions and the politicians they control have pure disdain and hatred for people of faith. Christian schools are a threat to their indoctrination centers.
Unlike most government schools, Christian schools actually open and educate. They are not mandated to teach perverted sex ed to young children. They aren't mandated to teach young children to hate themselves and their country.
These godless government officials and teacher unions know that by shutting private schools for long periods, they are putting them out of business. Many families cannot afford tuition for remote learning. It is inadequate. This is not about covid. This is about targeting people of faith and any competitors of failing government schools.
