What Was Discussed When the Lodi Mayor & Council and Douglas Petty First Introduced Themselves? (Post Date: April 7, 2020)

Link to the January 14, 2020 meeting minutes of the Lodi Mayor & Council:

Lodi should have learned over the years that you never sell something that you currently own only to turn around and lease it back for the same purpose.  One party makes a lot of money at the expense of the other.  No developer/landlord is in the business to lose money.

With all the problems the mayor and council created in recent years and all the money they wasted in their efforts to demolish and replace an administration building, I don’t know why they are even having a conversation about 8 Hunter Street.

Big money should not be spent on offices.  It’s not a school.  It’s an administration building.  With all the students going to charters and with all the parents expressing interest in real home schooling programs in the near future, the last thing the district should be doing is spending big on office space.
