Dominic Miller’s salary increased $12,273.36 in just one year...after he joined the BOE.

Miller was appointed to the Lodi Board of Education in May 2015.

In July 2015, his regular salary was $122,062.32.

In July 2016, his regular salary was $134,335.68.

That is a $12,273.36 salary increase (10.1%) in just one year.

Miller was promoted to Sergeant this year.  That promotion required the Mayor and Council to pass an ordinance amending the “table of organization of the police department” which increased the number of sergeants.

Patty Licata approved the ordinance and promotion.  Patty Licata is a BOE employee. Patty Licata is also the mother of  Joe Licata- Millers's close personal friend and fellow BOE trustee.

Miller was not promoted to fill a position.  A position was created to fill Miller’s promotion.

Whenever borough employees join the BOE, promotions come fast and salaries explode.  But I am sure that is all just a coincidence.  Borough employees couldn’t possibly be rewarded for protecting Capizzi’s $64 million employment agency for family and friends.
