Letter to the Editor (Community News): Candidate wants voters to pick brigher future

Albert Einstein said the definition of insanity is doing something over and over again and expecting a different result.  On May 12th, the voters of Lodi can make the same mistakes of the past or they can opt for a brighter future.

It is time to restore a system of checks and balance.  It is time for real ethics reform.  On July 1st, I pledge to introduce the strictest anti-nepotism and pay-to-play ordinances.  If the machine candidates don’t go along with me, I will shame them when council meetings are shown on-line for the first time.

It is time to restore pride in the community.  I intend on bringing back the Memorial Day Parade and 4th of July celebration.  Both can easily be funded after campaign contributors can no longer receive NO BID contracts.

I encourage everyone to bullet vote for myself and George Panagiotou.  We are independent reformers, not machine candidates.  We have businesses in town.  We have no conflicts of interest.  We are ready to clean up Lodi’s culture of corruption.

When you cast your ballot, only use two votes.  Vote independent.  Vote for reform.  Vote for a brighter future.
