Another day, another attorney letter. AXA can get in line.

Link to the letter I received today by Federal Express Delivery:

The above letter was in response to the following post:

The purpose of the letter was not to correct the record.  It was to stifle my freedom of speech.

For months, residents of Lodi have asked me how Joe Licata got his job at the Boys & Girls Club.  I tell them to look at who the Board of Directors are and what they and their family members are getting from the Lodi BOE in return (jobs, contracts, etc.).

If AXA does not appreciate becoming part of the conversation, too bad.

The above letter is centered on the following blog statement: “There are AXA bills paid by the Lodi Board of Education each month.”

I stand by that statement.  In fact, just look at the April bills from the BOE.  The BOE cut a check to AXA for $29,228.16.  There is a check number (#12593).

I am quite aware that the BOE takes out employee contributions for those disbursements. But the BOE is doing business with AXA and writes them a check each month.  I never misrepresented anything.

Reasha A. Robinson-McLymont is grasping at straws.  She is using semantics.

She should have considered these three things before sending her letter:

1)     Michael Tancorra was listed as a member of the Board of Directors of the “Club” when BOE President Joseph Licata was promoted.

2)     Michael Tancorra works for AXA and had been seen entering and leaving Lodi schools.

3)     The BOE is doing business with AXA and cuts them a check each month (using employee contributions).

Who chose AXA?  How did the arrangement come about?  Who from Lodi set it up? Who from AXA did they deal with?  Who is receiving commission? How much commission?

Maybe Ms. Robinson-McLymont can answer those questions in her next letter.
