LODI BOARD OF EDUCATION LODI, NEW JERSEY NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed proposals will be by the Board of Education of the Borough of Lodi, New Jersey on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the Board Meeting room, Lincoln School, 8 Hunter Street, Lodi, New Jersey, for the following: PLUMBING SERVICE AND REPAIR WORK for the period covering FEBRUARY 1, 2015 - JUNE 30, 2015 AND JULY 1, 2015 - JUNE 30, 2016 Specifications and instructions may be obtained at the office of the Board Secretary/Business Administrator of the Lodi Board of Education, Lincoln School, 8 Hunter Street, Lodi, New Jersey. All bids must conform to same. All bids are to be sealed, distinctly marked, and addressed to Marc A. Capizzi, Board Secretary/Business Administrator LODI BOARD OF EDUCATION 8 Hunter Street, P.O. Box 815 Lodi, New Jersey 07644. Bids will be publicly opened at 10:00 A.M. on said date and at said place; read and referred to the Board of Education for consideration. No bid will be accepted after 10:00 A.M. on said date. In the event that there is only one bid received. it will be submitted to the Board of Education at its next meeting for the Board to determine, at that time, whether or not the bid is to be opened. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any immaterial informalities in the bidding and to make awards in the best interest of the Lodi Board of Education. Bids will be awarded on hourly rates. Bids will be rendered in accordance with Chapter 107 N.J.S.A. 18A:18-4. All bids are to be submitted on the forms provided. Bidders must comply with P.L. 1975, C. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27) Mandatory Affirmative Action Requirements, Executive Order 11246 regarding Equal Employment Opportunity, and Chapter 33, Laws of 1977, regarding Disclosure of Partners and Stockholders. Each bid must be accompanied by a non collusion affidavit, certificate of prequalification, affidavit as to total amount of uncompleted contracts, and Certificate of Registration with the State of New Jersey. Each bidder must comply with N.J.S.A. 34:11-56A4 and N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25, et seq. regarding the payment of the prevailing wages to all workmen engaged in public works. All bids shall be irrevocable, not subject to withdrawal and shall stand available for a period of (60) sixty days. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities if it is deemed to the best interest of the Board to do so. THE LODI BOARD OF EDUCATION RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY AND ALL BIDS, TO WAIVE ANY INFORMALITIES IN ANY BID, OR TO AWARD SEPARATE CONTRACTS OR A LUMP SUM CONTRACT (AS APPLICABLE), IN SUCH A MANNER AS SHALL BE, IN THE JUDGMENT OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION, DEEMED IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE SCHOOL DISTRICT, ALL IN CONFORMITY WITH THE LAW.
