Today, the borough submitted their response:

“Please be advised that there is no document in response to your OPRA request dated 1/26/14 (attached). The bill for health benefits is reviewed monthly by Charles Cuccia, CFO and is paid upon his approval.”

The public can see for themselves that the OPRA request was specific and clear.  It seeks to see who is receiving health benefits from Lodi.  This is public information.  This is a question on the state’s “Best Practices” questionnaire.

A monthly bill does exist because the borough pays it.  They told the state that they conduct a "monthly review".  Some document has to exist for them to review.  Otherwise, what did they answer "Yes" to?

This administration succeeded in hiding George Reggo’s “in house” tax reductions for the politically connected.  They intend on doing the same with this request.  Once again, they clearly have something to hide.
