Lodi’s Best Practices Questionnaire is due October
15, 2013. At this time one year ago, the
Lodi council never made it an agenda item nor did they discuss their responses
at a regular public meeting. Last year,
Lodi’s supposed CFO answered the questionnaire not truthfully.
Hopefully, the Lodi council actually follows the
state’s rules this year. Hopefully,
they actually implemented more of the “Best Practices” this year because that
is where the real tax savings would be. The public deserves honesty and
transparency.
