The last “Detailed Budget” provided to the Lodi residents was for the 2019-2020 school year and it was posted by me.

Some of the LEA activists at the time accused me of
posting wrong salaries for employees. I
didn’t make the budget. Frank Quatrone
and Marc Capizzi created the budgets and created the figures. I posted their
budgets so the public can match their tax levy and operating expenses to
something concrete.
The public had the right to see what they were
supposedly paying for. The public quickly learned that Frank Quatrone were Marc
Capizzi were padding the budgets really bad for the purpose of attaining millions
left over each year for their $7.5M administration building, illegal payouts and other pet projects.
The Lodi BOE’s budget increases are off the
charts. They are not normal. They were camouflaged in recent years by millions more in
additional aid that poured in. The Lodi
BOE was irresponsible and reckless as it never prepared for when its aid would decrease
or even remail flat.
The BOE is operating with public funds. The public has every right to demand a detailed
budget. The public has every right to question
why one hasn’t been provided during the last six years. The public should ask
Nancy Cardone why she had Douglas Petty and at least two of her business
administrators wrongfully deny OPRA requests for a “Detailed Budget” (a basic
public record).
