BOE budget vote was postponed because Board members were given false numbers for months…

As of last night, Board members were still being told that there was a $0 and 0% tax increase with the 2019-2020 school budget.

Marc Capizzi had stated and put on a sheet that there would be an $8 increase for the average property owner.

The truth:  this budget would raise taxes $197.16 on a home assessed at $318.00.

Everything said and acted upon over the last few months was premised on one big lie.

Speaking about lies, you were told that the average Lodi homeowner’s school taxes went down $40 with the 2018-19 school budget after the Board received millions more in additional state aid last July.

That also was a lie.   I was really surprised to learn tonight that your school taxes actually went up with the 2018-2019 school budget.

Marc Capizzi told Lodi that taxes were lowered to help a Capizzi relative running for re-election.

Lodi’s corrupt political machine lies about everything, especially your taxes. You see that right now with the current Lodi mayor and council.  A bunch of liars always taking from the struggling taxpayers and giving to their relatives.

Garfield voters just rejected a 2% increase in school tax levy…

Without any vote and providing board members with false numbers, Lodi’s administration tried to raise Lodi’s tax levy 3.14%.

Unacceptable!

The dishonest and untrustworthy Lodi politicians posing as administration turned a great situation into a disaster…

Only in Lodi can you see state aid numbers like these in March and be in this situation tonight:

This additional aid should be used for tax relief.  It should NOT be used for an unnecessary administration building.  It should not be used for 20% salary increases for the fat cats.

When you see Board members, demand that this Aid be used for tax relief.  Lodi taxpayers are struggling.  They subsidized the abuse and greed of the political families for too long.

Don’t buy into Capizzi’s propaganda at the time this aid is discussed.  He and his father always look for ways to keep additional millions under their control instead of delivering tax relief.  Don’t buy into Quatrone’s propaganda.  Look at his new contract. 

Lodi was recently ranked #1 in New Jersey for highest school tax burden.
