“Cleary Giacobbe” Lost a Case on Behalf of Elmwood Park and Invited a Lawsuit that Was Reported in the News This Week. The Firm Tried to Harass and Go After the Livelihoods of Two Former Nontenured Teachers for Resigning in the Summer Months and Not Committing to a New Contract for the Next School Year. The Actions by Elmwood Park (“Cleary Giacobbe”) Were Labeled “frivolous, unfair, ill-suited, and unprofessional.”

Link to decision from the State that led to a lawsuit against the Elmwood Park Board of Education that was reported in the news this week:

“Cleary Giacobbe” billed the Elmwood Park taxpayers to bring a frivolous suit.  You don’t have to be an attorney to know that their actions were frivolous and out of pure spite.

I have been posting on this blog for years how the Giacobbe firm has been losing cases throughout the State of New Jersey and looking very ridiculous.  They are not acting as credible school attorneys but rather as political hacks acting on behalf of incompetent boards of education.

It has been shown how “Giacobbe” bills significantly more than other firms and provides inferior legal services.  It is more than clear that they are only retained because of their pay-to-play practices and/or influence peddling (Joseph Lagana and other elected officials listed as “Partners”).

Taxpayers in towns represented by “Cleary Giacobbe” should OPRA the legal bills for every frivolous case brought by "Giacobbe" and lost by "Giacobbe".  They should demand that their incompetent board members or council members hire credible, honest attorneys to provide representation based on law.

The firm is nothing but unprofessional.  The decision concluded:

The Lodi Board of Education Should Clearly State a Specific Need to Hire a Public Relations Firm. They Are Often Used for Responses to Scandals or Promotion of Referendums.

The Lodi Mayor and Council Just Took $1,000,000 off One of the Property Assessments of a Developer that Made Payments to Scott Luna's Father...

In 2018, the assessment on just the IMPROVEMENTS of 150 Essex Street was $8,735,000.

Lodi By The Numbers: “JMP Holdings” is receiving a $216,765.15 tax refund from Lodi… (lodioverhaul.blogspot.com)

Today, the entire assessment for the 150 Essex Street is $1,090,800.

The Lodi Mayor and Council also just reduced the assessment of another one JMP's properties, 160 Essex Street, by $869,000.

The Lodi mayor and council are just taking millions off of JMP's assessments and writing the LLC huge checks.

Scott Luna abstained on the settlement, acknowledging his horrible conflict of interest.  This appears to be a Hunter Biden situation where the Luna family was paid an undisclosed amount of money for influence and the favors were delivered.

Simple Question: How Much Has JMP Paid Tony Luna and What Work Has Tony Luna Performed for JMP?

Is JMP making payments to anyone else in Lodi government or their family members?

In 2018, Lodi Financial Reports Listed “JMP 150-174 Essex Street, LLC” as Lodi’s 6th Largest Principal Property Taxpayer With an Assessed Value of $12,349,000.

Today, if you add up all the assessments for “JMP 150-174 Essex Street, LLC” on the August Resolutions, you get a total of $9,110,200.

So, in 6 years, you see JMP’s assessed value drop $3,238,800.

In 2018, the Lodi Mayor and Council cut JMP a payment of $216,765 after they reduced JMPs assessment by “settlement”.

We can now await to see the next payment cut to JMP for the new tax “settlements” I posted today.
