2) Alan Spiniello does NOT submit legal invoices (hours worked, hourly rate) for payment.
In 2017, the State found serious problems with how
Alisa Nunno was being paid by the Lodi Board of Education for legal services
and ordered a Corrective Action Plan (click on link below):
The arrangement between the Lodi Mayor and Council and
Alan Spiniello is a lot worse. It’s astonishing
that this arrangement has gone for as long as it has and how millions of
dollars of Lodi tax dollars have been paid to Alan Spiniello without any intervention
from any State agencies.
