Mike Nardino and all “Children First” board members raised school taxes 2.08%
this year despite receiving millions more in aid at the time of their vote. Then in the summer months, the state gave
Lodi an additional 1.2M in aid (beyond what was anticipated) after the budget was already approved. Some of that aid was used to offset the “Children
First” tax increase that resulted from their reckless budget. Mike Nardino and all "Children First" board members voted against giving the struggling Lodi taxpayers a larger amount of relief that was readily available due to the additional aid.
Residents of Lodi aren’t stupid. They see through “Children First” lies. You can’t vote to raise taxes 2.08% at a public meeting and on “Lodi
Live” and expect that nobody noticed.
Mike Nardino and all "Children First" board members voted for the 2.08% tax increase the same night they voted to give Frank Quatrone a 20% pay raise.
