It was a strategic move on Joe Capizzi’s part to hand-pick
Marc Schrieks to protect the Capizzi Empire.
Capizzi took Marc for a ride in the big black Lexus right before he
placed Marc’s name on the “Children First” petition.
Marc Schrieks works in the same building as the executive
county superintendent- someone that is supposed to provide oversight to the
Lodi Board of Education. Marc Schrieks sits on a county board with the executive
county superintendent. The county superintendent is chosen by Governor Phil
Murphy.
Marc Schrieks has close ties to Phil
Murphy and worked really hard on his campaign.
Phil Murphy’s department of education is in the
Star-Ledger every week for it’s really bad hires and other dysfunction.
Lack of oversight from the DOE = Higher Lodi Taxes
If another illegal contract for Quatrone is sent to
the county superintendent for approval, Marc Schrieks can call his friends in the
DOE and ask them to look the other way.
When the Lodi BOE continues to violate state statutes, Marc Schrieks can
call his friends in the DOE and ask them to look the other way. Actually, Marc doesn’t have to call
them. He can just leave his office and
walk a few feet to ask his friends directly to look the other way.
More people protecting Quatrone and Capizzi at the DOE means less people looking out for your tax dollars and your children's education.
