Should Donald Scorzetti be sitting on the Board with Dominic Miller? That’s some chain of command.

Dominic Miller provided this statement in his answer to the ethics complaint:

Further, the Mayor is not Miller’s “boss”.  Miller’s superior officers are a police captain, the deputy chief of police, and, ultimately, the chief of police.

Does Miller not see the problem with that statement?

The Chief of Police is the Superintendent’s brother.  Miller votes on bonuses and contracts for his boss’ brother.

The Deputy Chief of Police, Donald Scorzetti, was Miller’s running mate in 2016.  These two ambitious, overly political officers want to compose 2/9 of the Lodi Board of Education.  Is this a typical employee/superior arrangement?

These conflicts open the door to ethics violations and unwarranted advantages.

Keep politics out of our schools.  Keep politics out of our police department.

On November 7th, vote for candidates without conflicts!
