2017-2018 School Budget…

Many people have been borrowing my binder.  Since there is public interest and since this is public information, I will provide a link to the 2017-2018 detailed school budget.  Click on the link below:

Since this budget was approved, school taxes were actually lowered.  Page 1 doesn’t reflect that.

Money is still budgeted for the $7.5M administration building ($7,187,542 on page 47).  The project was suspended, not "squashed".  The Cardones had one of their mouth pieces criticize me tonight for discussing the project on this blog.  I can understand why the Cardones don't want this discussed during election time.  The mouth piece went right over and kissed Mike Cardone for approval after putting on her show.

Lodi taxpayers have every right to know how their money is spent.

It is time that we thank the taxpayers of Lodi for working multiple jobs, struggling to get by, and giving up a large percentage of their paychecks to Lodi property taxes.

Lodi received a positive story today in the Record.  Lost in the discussion is any appreciation for the taxpayers of Lodi.  The Lodi taxpayers paid for more six figure positions in our schools, more consultants, more technology, and more programs.

PARCC improvements were a team effort.  Taxpayers were part of that team. A union activist said otherwise tonight.

A step forward should be celebrated.  Unfortunately, union activists, the “machine”, and their candidates (already bought and paid for before Election Day) make everything negative, everything divisive, and everything about themselves.

Why weren't all these union people at the meetings when only 6% of students were passing the PARCC at certain grade levels?  I attended meetings at the time.  I shed light on it.   I called for more accountability and warned against the acceptance of failure.
