Jamie Ciofalo adds a new disclosure to his website.

Jamie Ciofalo recently added this disclosure to his website for “Educators Training Institute”:

“Disclosure:

100% of the cost of admission for trainings conducted by Jamie Edward Ciofalo are donated to the Boys & Girls Club of Lodi/Hackensack and Lodi CARES. Both are non-profit organizations that assist children in the Lodi Public Schools and community. Jamie Edward Ciofalo does not receive compensation for any trainings.

Cost of admission for trainings conducted by any trainer other than Jamie Edward Ciofalo is set at a higher rate to compensate the trainer. Once again, Jamie Edward Ciofalo does not receive compensation for any trainings.”

A few things to point out:

1)     Ciofalo’s new disclosure states that “100% of the cost of admission for trainings conducted by him” will go to the Lodi Boys and Girls Club (Joe Licata’s employer) and "Lodi Cares" (Joe Licata’s house).  Joe Licata is the President of the Lodi Board of Education.  Licata is using a school employee during the school day to indirectly generate money for himself.  The money goes to the Club.  The Club turns around and pays Licata.  Nardino was paid $120,000 and Licata now has his job.

Why should the Lodi taxpayers pay Jamie Ciofalo when he is working for Licata at the Club?  Once again, that is theft of time. I thought Ciofalo was using personal days, vacation days, or even sick days.  He wasn’t.  Jamie Ciofalo was paid by the Lodi taxpayers for the days Joe Licata arranged for him at the Club.

Licata should read this article about the two North Bergen DPW supervisors:

Jamie Ciofalo asserts that he is not compensated for his trainings.  The Lodi taxpayers paid him for every day that he was at the Club Maybe Ciofalo should replace his last line with: "Once again, Jamie Ciofalo does not receive compensation for any trainings from attendees.  All his compensation comes from the Lodi taxpayers."

Not one day is listed as “dock/Unpaid day”.  How can you have a balance of -18 “Other” days used as absences and not be docked?

2)  Jamie Ciofalo’s disclosure states that trainers other than himself (business associates and personal friends) are compensated.  So the Lodi taxpayers are paying Jamie Ciofalo to work in our schools while he is generating money for his business associates.  That should make the taxpayers feel a lot better about the situation.

Below is a link to one of the many Ciofalo websites.  On the right, you can look at all of the dates that the Lodi taxpayers will pay Ciofalo to not show up to work:

Side note: the Lodi taxpayers pay the Lodi Boys and Girls Club at least $48,000 a year for supposed rentals.  Since certain administrators are at the Club during the school day anyway, why doesn’t the Club house the “approximately 24 employees” set to occupy the new $7.5 million dollar office.  The Lodi taxpayers can save $7.5 million dollars.

Yes Joe Capizzi, that is 7.5 million TAX DOLLARS.  You can lie all you want to others and say it isn’t Lodi TAX DOLLARS.  It is all Lodi TAX DOLLARS.  100% of it is Lodi TAX DOLLARS.

And when Lodi taxes go up again because all the surplus and millions more is wiped out for the $7.5 million office, Joe Capizzi will say that taxes went up because of "special ed students".  For decades, Capizzi used that excuse every time there was a big  tax increase.  And the truth is: it wasn't for special ed students.  There was never any mention of all the additional state aid Lodi was receiving.  There was never any mention when enrollment went down.  It was always easy for Capizzi to say, the increase was due to special ed students.  And he said it over and over again in all the the archived newspaper articles.  He will say it again as a cover for him wasting $7.5 million on offices for "approximately 24 employees."
