The $7.5 million dollar project is really bad. But something else made many residents sicker
to their stomachs.
I have been attending meetings for many years. I have never been more ashamed or embarrassed
for Lodi.
Frank Licata, the father of the Board President and
husband of the Deputy Mayor, said something really horrible to a woman in
attendance about her child. His statement was made
in the presence of many people including myself. All were in disbelief. Many feel a sense of sadness today because of
the mean-spiritedness and lack of basic decency.
Children should never be attacked. Period.
The Deputy Mayor and Wilson School employee, Patricia
Licata, uttered the word “a—hole” many times during the meeting. Wilson school parents were in attendance. What example is she setting?
Words matter. Decency matters.
