Kathryn Fedina allowed Michael Cardone to use the
district email to send out messages against me during his mother’s
campaign. When I raised the issue that
Michael Cardone should not be using district email for his mother's political campaign, Fedina, Giacobbe, and the
Cardone Family conspired to have Michael Cardone file a complaint against my
blog. Fedina and Giacobbe tried to hire
Giacobbe’s former law partner to assist them.
They attempted to circumvent an OFAC corrective action plan that is
currently posted on our district site. They attempted to bypass our RFP
process.
They claimed the matter was urgent and that Giacobbe’s
former law partner had to be hired that night (October 28th). One month later, we all see that there never
was any urgency and the issue suddenly disappeared.
I received the October legal bills a few days
ago. There were bills for conversations
during the time period in question between Kathryn Fedina and Matthew Giacobbe. The bills are labeled “re Board Matters”. The board was informed in 2017 that legal
bills have to be specific. A general
label such as “Board Matters” would be unacceptable. A big firm like Giacobbe’s knows that.
This was a clear cover up. The billing is unacceptable.
Giacobbe’s motive to go after me is clear. If reelected, I was a threat to his gravy
train. I have been criticizing his
contract and excessive billing for months.
This is what we know about Kathryn Fedina. From my limited time in the board office, I had
seen Mike Cardone visit Fedina, kissing up to her so much it was sickening. At board meetings, he would embrace her and
rock back and forth. Fedina took time out
of a board meeting to read an email praising Cardone. The email was written by Nancy Cardone’s
personal friend who was working on the Cardone campaign. The
Cardones know how to kiss up to get what they want and Fedina loved every bit
of it.
Where all parties crossed the line is when they
attempted to use their official positions and public funds to carry out their orchestrated
political stunt against me. They also
attempted to cover up their actions by using a general label “Board Matters” on
their legal bills.
Some people flee when they get caught. Some people try to change the subject. Some people try to pretend it never happened.
School
districts have the right to know what Kathryn Fedina did.
School
districts have the right to know what the Giacobbe attorneys did.
The public has the right to know what took place. When these disgraceful actions are taken
against BOE candidates other than myself in the future, Lodi residents should
be prepared and recognize how their tax dollars are being misappropriated for political
purposes.
