I wrote
about George Reggo’s Reiner Place property in June 2013. I questioned why he didn’t list the property on any of
his financial disclosure statements and why he left his name off the on-line tax records where an owner's name would be listed. Old posts from June 16, 2013:
Is
there a reason why he used a ® symbol in the place of "Reggo"? ®go
was not the name of the owner.
Reggo lists
ownership of 3 properties on his 2013 financial disclosure form. (Ridgefield,
Bogota, and Cliffside Park).
Was he forthcoming on financial disclosure form because he apparently has had some ownership in a property in Englewood Cliffs where he also is the tax assessor?

Almost all of his properties in Bergen County have seen assessment reductions in the last couple of years. But he says that Lodi can't have a new town wide reassessment because it's either unlawful or it's not needed because Lodi values are where they were in 2004.

Reggo's name didn't appear on the records where an owner's name would be listed. "%G. Reggo" is listed on the address line. This would make it difficult to search George Reggo as the owner of 5 Reiner Place.
However, George Reggo's name did appear on the deed registration (without an address listed).
