Too much politics and union activity at Washington School.

You leave elementary school in the 5^th grade.  So let’s look at 5^th grade PARCC results for 2016.  Students in Levels 1, 2, and 3 did NOT meet expectations (in other words, not passing the test).

Level 1: Not Yet Meeting Requirements
Level 2: Partially Meeting
Level 3: Approaching Expectations
Level 4: Meeting Expectations
Level 5: Exceeding Expectations

Washington’s Emil Carafa and Debra Kwapniewski spent their time at  Wednesday’s meeting talking about a blog. 

At our next meeting, I expect them to answer for the results posted above.

If Debra Kwapniewski wants get paid $200,000 (would that figure make her happy?) to teach pre-k, she needs to spend more time on education and less on union activism.

Mayor Carafa might need to take off his mayor’s hat and starting wearing his principal hat.
