Don’t be fooled.
Based on his voting record, Mike Nardino is all for the $7.5M project. So are the other members that voted over and
over again to demolish and replace.
If Mike Nardino is now supposedly against the project,
why does he keep reminding everyone that the vote is “non-binding” and the board
doesn’t have to respect the will of the voters?
Why did he say that the $400,000 architect plans won’t go to waste
because they can be used in the future?
Don’t
forget that Trustees Nardino, Carafa, Miller, and Carbonetti actually awarded a
$6M+ contract in December and scheduled the demolition for March 2017.
We were able stop the contract one week later when I
replaced Nick Vara. Trustees
Mastrofilipo, Telep, and Mara also voted to stop the contract.
The project is unnecessary. Nobody knows the true motives of those behind
the project or those that voted for it. The board is only one vote away
from wasting $8M Lodi tax dollars.
