At the June 21st work session, I requested
that Sciarrillo’s bills be emailed to the board members before the regular
meeting so everyone knows what they are voting on.
Jonathan Carafa went out of his way to say that the
bills should not be emailed. He stated that if anyone wants to see them, they should have to go to the board office to view them. He had no business interjecting himself into
the conversation. It was clear that he
wanted to hide something.
It turns out that a $456 bill was for services
provided to Carafa, Miller, and Nardino. It was for almost three hours of work.
Without board authorization, a claim was already
submitted to the insurance provider retaining “Riker” to help Carafa, Nardino,
and Miller answer a simple question.
Sciarrillo should never have been used to provide them services.
