How insulting is it that two out of towners fought to block the
voters of Lodi from having their say on the $7.5M ballot question?
Vincent Caruso was always controlled by Joe Capizzi
and still is. How many times has Capizzi
visited Caruso since Caruso became borough manager? How many times did the two meet or speak
during the week of July 6 (date of the letter)?
Nobody has a clue as to what part-time Alan Spiniello
does for his $210,000 except engage in pay-to-play and create ordinances for
Patty Licata’s son. Now, he can add something
new to his list. He wrote a letter
stating that Lodi shouldn’t be allowed to place the $7.5M question on the
ballot because Bogota couldn’t have non-binding referendum making English the
official language of the borough.
Caruso and Spiniello are not serving the residents of
Lodi. They are only serving the
politicians that made them rich.
Two people whose interests they serve: Mayor Carafa and Councilwoman Licata.
Emil Carafa’s son, Board Member Jonathan Carafa,
actually voted to award a $6M+ contract to demolish the structurally sound building. If it were up to him, the building would have
been demolished last March. There is no
question about what he would do. He
already did it.
Emil Carafa expressed many public statements in
support of the project. He told board
members that they need to tell the people of Lodi that it would cost $4M in
repairs if the demolition didn’t take place.
That was a flat out lie.
Patty Licata’s son, former Board President Joe Licata,
initiated the project. He was the
most vocal and dishonest player behind the $7.5M scam. He rushed things through as he secretly fled
town.
Residents
of Lodi must stand up to the spoiled out of towners and the politicians
that pull their strings.
