Multi-million dollar school projects are supposed to
go to referendum. People have the right to vote when money is borrowed for school projects. When the process is
circumvented, something is wrong. It was
wrong in Lodi. It was wrong in
Lyndhurst.
The project should never have gone as far as it
did. Where was the department of
education? Where was Nora Peck? Why were there no checks and balance from the
BOE or the commissioners? Are they all
puppets from the same political machine like you used to have here in Lodi?
It’s sad that a resident had to take it upon himself
and spend $30,000 to stop the project.
