Marc Capizzi was hired in July 2012 with a starting date of October 2012.
His “School Business Administrator” standard certificate
was issued in August 2013, a
year after being hired.

I am pointing this out because Lodi deserves the truth
even if it comes years later.
Joe Licata played Lodi for fools when he called the
decision a “no brainer”.
The Record covered this story in 2012 but never bothered
to ask if the person being hired even held a standard certificate.
At board meetings, some politicians and union leaders
cheer this practice. The majority of
Lodi does not.
Once again, this is why the board needs a "Personnel Committee".
