Advisory opinion for Donald Scorzetti or anyone else looking to trade favors with the mayor and council.

Link to advisory opinion:

Before Vincent Caruso walked away with his $343,000 retirement payout, I was asking the question:  is it appropriate that Mr. Caruso is voting on the contracts for council members employed in our schools while those same people were voting on his contracts?

Weren’t they just exchanging favors with Lodi tax dollars?  Weren’t they giving away the house because they were getting something in return?

The above advisory opinion shows that Mr. Caruso should never have been voting on the contracts for Patty Licata and the other council members employed in our schools.

Ethical standards will no longer be ignored.
