Jamie Ciofalo wants Dominic Miller as board president, but do you?

There were four seats open on November 8th while people were voting.  Three of the top four vote getters ran against the political machine.

Dominic Miller, the machine candidate, came in third.

On paper, Miller should have done better.  He heavily outspent the other candidates.  He had the full backing (and cash) from the mayor and council.  He had the full backing from the Capizzi political machine.  He is a police officer in town.

But Miller came in third and his two running mates lost (Vara really badly).

If the election were held today, there is no doubt that Miller would have been defeated after his actions over the last two weeks.

The people of Lodi sent a clear message that they wanted change on November 8th.  They have only grown angrier and more hungry for change over the last two weeks.

The board isn’t holding a work session prior to choosing a president on Wednesday.

Capizzi wants Miller.  Ciofalo wants Miller.

Miller led four trustees to abstain two weeks ago.  Then he led them to change their votes one week later.  I don’t know if that is the leadership Lodi is looking for.
