From today’s Record:
“…nearly
$5 million renovation project, which includes a new state-of-the-art
performing arts center, a soundproof music room, an upgraded library,
three new small group instruction rooms, an expanded media center, new
main offices, an interior instructional courtyard and a kitchen.”
Alpine’s renovations came from private donations. There is an educational benefit as the money
was spent on its school.
Capizzi & puppets are spending $7.5
million on an administration building. None of the $7.5M is going into
any of our schools. In fact, it was
taken away from our schools.
From Today’s Record:
“Most
school districts need to secure voter approval through a referendum
before they undertake a major renovation project.”
Capizzi & puppets didn’t secure public approval. They just raised taxes. And someone asleep at the wheel in the County never asked questions.
Capizzi & puppets took away Lodi’s right
to vote on the matter. They denied my
requests to place the question on the ballot as a nonbinding referendum.

The Capizzis
make more than those in Alpine.
The Capizzis and the five that voted for the project should use their
own private funds for the administration building since they want it and nobody
else does.
