Scott Luna's administration has secretly been using Lodi tax
dollars to pay for Tony Luna's "appeal". The Lodi mayor and
council have spent tens of thousands of dollars to appeal a $1,000 fine. Tony Luna was fined in 2018 when he was no
longer a borough employee. He received a
personal fine for his blatantly corrupt actions.
The Lodi taxpayers have no interest or business in paying for two law
firms to represent him.
The Lodi mayor and council
are misappropriating public funds to benefit the mayor’s father. If
the mayor and council had a policy in place to defend former employees for
blatantly corrupt actions, they would go through insurance. That has not taken place. If the mayor and council chose to
misappropriate public funds on a legal fund for the mayor’s father, they would
need a resolution. There is no
resolution appearing on any meeting minutes.
There must be another investigation
into the tens of thousands of Lodi tax dollars secretly spent on the mayor’s
father.
I called out this corrupt arrangement immediately back in 2012. Link to past posts on the subject:
