Lodi Mayor Emil Carafa was yelling at his opponents this
Saturday that Scott Luna’s son will be making $125,000 and Carafa opponents’ tax
dollars will pay for it.
That’s arrogance at its worst. It's never funny to rob the taxpayers.
When Emil gets angry, he says things like that. I witnessed this first hand at many Board of
Education meetings shortly after I joined the board. I made a motion to remove Emil's son for chronic absenteeism (really for his persistence on demolishing Lincoln School). I received the wrath of Emil as the result.
