With all the problems that have emerged with the
Wilson School “reconfiguration” (serious safety issues and the lack of plans
and permits on file), countless residents have asked the same question over the
last week: “How could the engineer have
allowed this?”
The Capizzis
and Lunas are driven by revenge rather than the public interest, so their plan
ended up making no sense.
It is sad that Maser went along with Capizzi and Luna instead of acting
like the adult in the room. What will be
the new corrective costs for the project?
It should be pointed out that Maser produced a survey
of Luna’s son’s property on 11/1/2007 and a revised one on 5/9/2008. Neither
included his pool. In fact, Maser went
out of its way to list the following at the bottom of that survey, something
you don’t see on every other survey:
