Shutting the public out…literally.

I received numerous emails, text messages, and phone calls from concerned Lodi residents that could not enter the public meeting last night after 7 p.m.  The room was filled to capacity and they couldn’t even enter the door.

A fire hazard clearly existed last night.  Dominic Miller is a police officer.  He should have known better.  There was an on duty police officer present.  It was poor judgement and reckless to hold a public meeting in that room.

There is no reason to conduct public meetings in a small, stuffy room that could hardly fit anyone.  There are large meeting spaces available all throughout town- from the borough hall to every school.

The Lodi politicians prefer to meet in small, stuffy rooms.  They don’t want public participation, especially from Lodi residents.  As you know, they have plenty to hide.
