Everyone deserves to be respected, represented, and treated fairly.

I am pointing this out to keep the dialogue accurate.

This statement appeared on northjersey.com today:

“The expired contract had 14 salary steps versus the proposal of 19 steps with a salary increase every three years,  Union Action Chair Marisa Ambrosio explained. It would take 57 years of employment to reach top salary, teachers said.”

Someone may have misspoke.   It doesn’t take 57 years to reach top salary. This was the salary guide for last school year.
