The Board Attorney wasn’t scheduled for tonight’s meeting.

It appears that the Board Attorney attended tonight’s meeting just to say that every trustee can vote on the Carafa issue, even Carafa himself.

How can a board attorney say that it is alright for Carafa to vote on a matter directly affecting himself?  Isn't Carafa deriving a personal benefit from actions he made in his official capacity? Carafa used his official capacity to keep his board seat even though he rarely attends meetings.  The personal benefit of keeping his seat- the power and influence to hire and promote the entrenched Lodi politicians.  Also, the power to spend $8M on a project nobody can justify.

This raises many ethical questions that must be addressed by an unbiased outside party.

Once again, this was supposed to be about attendance and by-laws.
