Alan Spiniello is Lodi’s part-time borough
attorney. He is paid $210,000 a year.
His brother-in-law is the treasurer for “Children
First” (aka “Capizzi First”). His brother-in-law
is also the treasurer for “United for Lodi.”
The only contribution showing for “Children First”
came from “United for Lodi.”
What does that mean?
Money that went to “United” in return for NO BID
borough contracts ended up funding the Miller/Scorzetti/Vara campaign for
school board.
So borough engineers and attorneys that make their living off of PAY-TO-PLAY are being used to buy local school board elections in a town where they don't live or send their children to school.

Does Lodi feel comfortable with that?
