The Lodi politicians celebrated a bad ruling this past August when an appellate court decided that the Midland Park school district does not have to provide "attachments" to their agendas prior to meetings.
Midland Park does post their agendas on-line prior to their meetings and they did so before the ruling. They didn't want to include "attachments".

Even after Superior Court Judge Peter Doyne ruled that "attachments" must be provided to agendas prior meetings, Lodi not only withheld "attachments", they wouldn't provide an agenda.
After Judge Doyne delivered his ruling and it was in place, Marc Capizzi still asserted that the Board Attorney and the Department of Education said it was alright for Lodi to not provide an agenda.
Here are some old posts on the issue:

The people of Lodi have to ask: Why are Capizzi and the nine BOE members putting up such a fight to hide agendas from the public?
They know they can't hold public meetings where the audience has no idea what is taking place right in front of them.
