Any increase beyond 2% is very alarming. What makes things worse is that they over
taxed for an unnecessary project. They
operated behind the public’s back.
The 2015 figure is concerning. When the board switched over to November
elections in 2013, a public vote on school budgets was no longer required unless it
went beyond 2%. What possible exemptions
could the board claim to have gone over 2% without letting the public vote?
