Last
year, Donald Scorzetti had nothing to say about education during his
campaign. When giving an interview to
the Community News, this was it:
“Donald
Scorzetti
Donald
Scorzetti has lived in town for approximately 39 years.
He has three
daughters.
Scorzetti went
through the Lodi School System: Columbus Elementary School, Thomas Jefferson
Middle School and Lodi High School.
He has served
24 years in law enforcement. 22 years in Lodi. He is the current deputy chief
of police.
Scorzetti was a
former Little League baseball coach, former Babe Ruth baseball coach and former
Junior Rams football coach.
The candidate
said he gave back to the town by coaching in the sports he enjoyed as a child.
"We always
continue to put our children first and we provide them with safety and the best
education possible," said Scorzetti.
He added,
"We're one of the original districts to have school safety officers. The
most important part is to provide a quality education, which I think they've
done."”
