Ciofalo’s position was never advertised. A candidate search was never conducted. There was no interview process.
The six figure position “presented itself”. A retirement and appointment took place at the same meeting.
The Lodi politicians always embellish the resumes of political hirees. The candidates are so exceptional, there is no reason to ever look at a second candidate.
Unfortunately, their work experience within Lodi is never consistent with those embellished resumes.
Sound familiar? An awful lot of Licata's "no brainers" have gone bad.
