A topic of discussion this week has been about the Lodi politicians deleting instead of debating. Discussing political handouts and lifetime perks is not “inappropriate”. It is relevant and necessary.
This Administration finds it necessary to silence any critics and erase any conversations not favorable to them.
In light of the discussion this week, I would like to remind the residents of Lodi what this administration did a couple of years ago.
At one council meeting, I asked the simple question: doesn’t Mr. Luna sit on the South Bergen Joint Insurance Fund?
In response to that question, I received the following letter in the mail:

I informed the Executive Director of the SBJIF what the Attorney and two Commissioners were trying to do. Very shortly after, I received a second letter.
The Lodi politicians need to learn that:
1) They shouldn’t engage in bad behavior while
in public office if they cannot articulate a defense for their actions.
2) If they cannot debate the issues in any
setting or answer straight forward, relevant questions at public meetings, they
shouldn’t be holding public office.
