Update: The 220 number only represented their sick days. 220 days is considered a year's pay. The value of compensated absences should have included Chief Caruso's120 vacation days, 55 holiday days, and 15 personal days.
It shouldn't be that difficult to use the actual days and values when budgeting. If they planned better, they would borrow less.
