A few years ago, the Lodi Mayor and Council were giving
the Lodi Boys & Girls at least $60,000 a year in Lodi tax dollars while Licata's son was one the highest paid employees at the club. The Lodi Mayor and Council were paying
Joe Licata “consulting fees” with Drug Alliance funds. At the time, I asked Councilwoman Licata to
disclose how much her son was being compensated from the Lodi Boys and Girls
Club. Of course Councilwoman Licata
refused to disclose her son’s compensation.
The public can see that the councilwoman’s son was
being paid at least $100,000 from the nonprofit in 2017.
