The mayor and council finally voted on the appointments of Lodi’s
part-time CFO and part-time Treasurer at the Re-organization meeting on Tuesday. Both have worked in Lodi for years. Why hasn't a Resolution for this ever appeared on any agendas or minutes before? In the past, only a NO BID contract for “Treasury
Services” has appeared.
Neither position was ever advertised. No interviews were ever conducted.
People are well aware of all the “hats” (public
positions) Charles Cuccia wears.
But Lodi’s Treasurer wears many hats also. Luna’s daughter is a full-time employee of
Paramus. Apparently she is employed by
Edgewater as well.
Tony Luna has avoided all questions on this
arrangement for years. Who is doing what
work? Who is certified for what? When are they doing it?
