Almost every school district posts a detailed meeting
agenda on their website. This concept is
nothing new. Most districts have been
doing it for a decade. This allows the public to see what is going
on now as opposed to finding out about it months later.
Lodi does not.
Lodi does not.
Last year, I really thought this Superior Court
ruling involving another district would have lead the Board to change it's
past bad practices.
It did not.
The Lodi Board of Education chose to begin this new
school year still not providing the public with a real agenda.
I had to request an agenda through OPRA just so the
public can see who was being hired or what Resolutions were being passed at
last week’s meeting.
If I can post the information, why can’t the Board?
On the agenda, you can see more ridiculous criteria was submitted so Frank Quatrone can get another $25,108 merit bonus for the current school year (pages 2-14). The criteria is so bad, I’m not going to waste any time discussing it. People can read it for themselves to see right through it.
People should also be asking why the criteria was submitted by Frank Quatrone for Frank Quatrone. This was part of the Superintendent’s Monthly report. I guess he draws up his bonus and the BOE rubberstamps it.
